1. License
Clipveil (“the Software”) is licensed, not sold. You may install and use the free version on any number of Macs you own or control. A Pro license grants one person the right to use Pro features on up to two (2) Macs.
2. Restrictions
You may not resell, sublicense, share license keys publicly, or reverse engineer the licensing system of the Software, except where such restriction is prohibited by law.
3. Updates
Pro licenses include all 1.x updates at no extra cost. A future major version may be offered as a paid upgrade; your existing version keeps working.
4. Your content
You own everything you capture. You are responsible for making sure you have the right to capture, record and share content, and for checking that redactions fully cover sensitive information before sharing.
5. Disclaimer
The Software is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind. Automatic and manual redaction tools can miss information; always review a screenshot before sharing it.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Software is limited to the amount you paid for it.
7. Payments
Orders are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our reseller and merchant of record, under their terms of sale.
